What is the Inclusion Maturity Model?

The Inclusion Maturity Model is an invaluable tool for any organisation. It has been developed by In Diverse Company in partnership with renowned universities around the world. The constructs of the model are underpinned by psychological and business research in the area of inclusion, and has been piloted across multiple geographies and industries to validate that inclusion is the dimension being measured.

What happens with the tool?

There are two main elements to the model:

A behavioural component which assesses the inclusion of teams and leaders within your organisation. The behavioural component measures communication, behaviours, attitudes, and beliefs of employees, teams and leaders.

An audit component which assesses the inclusion of teams and leaders within your organisation.

All elements of the Inclusion Maturity Model™ are completed via our secure learning and engagement platform; Include LXP™. Using insights from your organization, the Inclusion Maturity Model™ provides recommended online learning content through programs and standalone resources delivered through Include LXP™ to your employees.

Data, reporting, recommendations and future improvements: The organisational, leader and team reports recommend interventions that are proven to shift attitudes, beliefs and behaviours to create a more inclusive culture across your organisation. The tool allows us to understand psychological drivers at an individual, team and leadership level. By understanding these drivers, we’re able to provide learning programmes that will not only change behaviours, but also measure progress and growth.

The outcome

Once the assessment and audit have been completed, the Inclusion Maturity Model provides an inclusion accreditation for your organisation: bronze, silver, or gold. Executives can also view the breakdown of the audit score and understand what areas of your organisation need improvement.

As part of the reporting process, In Diverse Company suggests appropriate actions to foster a more inclusive culture within your organisation. These are tailored specifically for you and designed to increase commercial success through your D&I agenda.
