Overview of position:

We are looking to recruit a Psychology & research specialist who will bring a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) and a zeal for supporting organisations with behavioural change. The selected individual will support the research and development of In Diverse Company’s products and services, working closely with the content, marketing and data teams.

We are seeking someone who is self-starting, credible and confident to work with employees at both middle and senior management levels. We will appoint someone who can draw from both academic theory and models as well as their first-hand experience of working in and/or with organisations.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver facilitated programmes on ED&I and talent and leadership development topics
  • Support public and private sector business development globally and ensure that our client relationships are driven by our knowledge and thinking
  • Work within our Content Team to ensure that the latest research and thinking is reflected in our blended learning programmes
  • Create white papers, opinion pieces, research articles and media posts to further IDC’s thought leadership and brand image
  • Support IDC’s internal research strategy and carry out IDC commissioned research projects
  • Attend as well as host events to speak about our work and the research undertaken and facilitate Masterclasses on topics around ED&I
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to further develop our flagship product, the Culture Audit, and any new products
  • Keep abreast of the latest research and thought leadership in the area of inclusion, leadership and business growth and disseminate this across our teams

 

Person specification:

Essential

  • Understanding and analysing both academic and professional findings, with the ability to distil information in an engaging way
  • Record of accomplishment in researching, publishing and presenting findings, both with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to create engaging & interactive content on ED&I and related topics
  • Confidence to deliver interactive sessions to business audiences and speak at conferences and senior leader meetings
  • Ability to use quantitative and/or qualitative data to identify patterns and projections, and create a strong business caseWe are looking particularly for expertise and experience in the following areas:
  1. Occupational psychology
  2. ED&I
  3. Behaviour change
  4. Research

 

Desirable

  • Psychology degree
  • Experience in working with globally dispersed teams
  • Experience in working with external clients and undertaking business development, especially public sector business development in the UK
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of courseware development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate
